Taizhou Hengxin Volunteers Walk into Homes for the Elderly

In order to further inherit and develop the glorious tradition of "caring for the elderly" and the sense of serving the society, carry forward the traditional virtues of respecting and loving the elderly of the Chinese nation, and let the elderly enjoy the joy of heaven and earth in the nursing homes, and enjoy every traditional festival. On the occasion of the Dragon Boat Festival, at 13:00 p.m. on June 6, eight members of Taizhou Heng Xin Xue Lei Feng Volunteer Service Team arrived at Jinqing Town Home for the Elderly in Luqiao District to launch a volunteer activity of "sending warmth and devoting love", which was warmly welcomed by the elderly in the Home for the Elderly.
The volunteers were divided into several groups. Some of them sat around with the old people to distribute cakes and snacks to the old people. Some of them talked to the old people intimately. They asked each old man to live in a nursing home and have a healthy and happy life. They urged the old people to take good care of their health and live a happy and healthy life.
Expand the respect of the aged in one's family to that of other families; expand the love of the young ones in one's family to that of other families! It is understood that the majority of the elderly living in nursing homes are widows and widows. Every day, people are responsible for their diet and living, and some of them have lived here for more than ten years. When they see volunteers go to give them Dragon Boat Festival gifts, the elderly gather up one by one, with a knowing smile on their face, like a small "old child".
Watching the old people eating the cake with relish, the volunteers also felt a warm current surging in their hearts. Although their actions were small, their feelings were real.
The time spent together is always short. After this activity, Hengxin volunteers have strengthened their beliefs of respecting, loving and respecting the elderly.
